Between Us tells the story of Mia, a young woman with psychosocial vulnerabilities who leaves her newborn child in a foundling hatch. The film explores complex themes such as motherhood, fragility, and social isolation. Although Mia's choices may seem difficult to understand, the creators aim to evoke empathy by making her perspective deeply relatable. The project is carried by a predominantly female crew and highlights a feminist approach to filmmaking. Between us is an intimate and moving portrait of a woman navigating a harsh reality.
